Argentina seems like a country that'd be too hot for me. I seriously cant stand the heat XD scotland is gorgeous. The north more than the central belt or the south, though they both have their beautiful parts. I've done a few holidays where i've toured around the north of the country, and the islands, so i've seen a fair bit of scotland, and it's all gorgeous!

the legends vary depending on where in the country you are, because each area changes it just a little. one of my favourites is one told on the orkney isles, lemme see if i can find it in my book of orkney folk tales, this one told by an old lady:

A giant went to Norway to cut peats and he filled his basket and set off for home. As he waded through the sea he needed to answer the call of nature, so he dropped his trousers and, in her words, he 'shet land', and that's how the Shetland isles were made. He carried on, but the strap of the basket broke and all his peats landed in the sea, and that's how Orkney was made.

not a common telling of the story, but it always makes me laugh XD

though it was just 2 years ago i went to Orkney. which was also a lovely set of islands, though we mainly stuck to the main island. so have you lived in argentina your whole life, or moved there?

i had to check a map for that, because i am so so bad at geography. seriously, years ago one of my friends took a trip with his school to Peru, and i said 'oh, where in africa is that?' and he laughed at me for like 5 minutes before pointing out that it was not in africa. XD but i'll never forget where it is again xD

that's cool though ^^ not a place i've ever been, again, too hot XD i barely deal with scottish summers, let alone anything hotter! i don't go on holiday to sunny countries. most people here will go to spain or something for their holidays, to sun bathe and things. I go to iceland, the north of scotland, or the north of america in winter time :P

Hahaha xD! Yep, quite hot lol. We had 100 ºF (38 ºC) or more this year D: Haha that's cool though! Iceland sounds very icy badum tss :P
